This project explores Jacques Offenbach's 12 Cello Etudes, Op. 78, a neglected collection first published in 1845. Their combination of technical purpose and musical character makes them a significant, though largely overlooked, contribution to the cello repertoire.

Each etude is edited and released as a freely available PDF here. By making these materials accessible, I hope to encourage cellists, teachers, and students to engage with a work that deserves a more prominent place in the standard teaching repertoire, while also contributing a practical performing edition of a historically significant but underrepresented source.
